Food and beverage is one of the key prioritised industries for DNV Business Assurance, growing at >30% across the major markets where DNV currently has F&B operations Our service offering within F&B spans from 3rd party global food safety certification, sustainability assessment, training and solutions, based on major international general as well as industry sector specific standards. DNV customers include the largest food and beverage producers and retailers in the world. The sales manager will report to the Head of Department Food & Beverage Greater China.

Responsibilities or Main duties:
The Sales Manager role for F&B in China is a key position to help establish DNV as a leader in the F&B industry and drive growth, and will be a rewarding and exciting opportunity for the right person with an entrepreneurial mindset and drive.

- Ensure that sales growth targets are met;
- New customer targeting and customer relationship development;
- Oversee key customer service management;
- Support F&B business development and regional sales teams;
- Analyse market, trends and sales development;
- Ensure proactive action to market trend and cooperation with other service areas.

Requirements or Qualifications:
- Minimum eight years industry background in food and beverage supply chain management, from the retail or production sectors, of which ideally the candidate should have some sales or business development experience;
- A proven track record developing business in new service areas, strategic customer acquisition or relationship management;
- A demonstrated good understanding of safety and sustainability issues is an advantage;
- Excellent communication skills;
- Good command of English and mandarin in oral and written;
- Experience from a global or internationally operating business is preferred;
- University or higher level of diploma education.
