DNV offers a truly international environment, comprising 300 offices in 100 countries, with over 9,000 employees.

The world is facing unprecedented challenges related to the management of environmental and climate change related issues in a global setting of increasingly scarce resources. We strongly believe that China, as an essential part of the solution, will rise to the occasion and play its role proactively and with dedication. DNV will, in line with our vision which calls for “a global impact for a sustainable future”, open a “Sustainability Centre” in Beijing to take a stronger and more visible role as a partner for China on these issues.

The Sustainability Centre shall reinforce an already strong DNV position in China which involves 900 employees, 36 offices and strong positions in the maritime, offshore, energy, carbon trading and best management practices industries. It will strengthen our co-operative ties with governmental institutions and organizations, industry and business parties and with research institutions and NGO’s with the purpose of developing and deploying workable and cost-effective solutions to sustainability related problems in China. The centre will work very closely with other DNV business units in China and around the world, thereby contributing to bringing international knowledge and best practice to China and vice versa.
