Nauticus Machinery coming to a new stage

With the June 2011 release Nauticus Machinery provides a unified environment for all calculation tools, with several re-designed tools and new features introduced.

The Nauticus Machinery June 2011 release is now available for download.

With this release, Nauticus Machinery offers a new unified environment for all calculations, in which it is easier to organize, compare and share your calculations. The brand new feature, Getting Started, gives you an effortless way from being a beginner to expert use of of Nauticus Machinery. With one click, everything you need to know about Nauticus Machinery, like manuals, release notes, examples and even DNV rules, is brought to you. In addition, your calculations are safe with Auto Recovery, which will save your work and restore them automatically.

Nauticus Machinery version 10.0 contains updates on Shaft Alignment, Gear Rating and Gear Faceload and a re-designed Torsional Vibration tool supporting multiple-engine systems, Shaft Fatigue and Crankshaft Fatigue. Nauticus Torsional Vibration has several new features; with Engine Library, you can store and reuse typical engine data, such as mass elastic data and excitation file, and build engine model in an easy way seamlessly. With the new solver, the Torsional Vibration tool have more capacities and powerful performance. In addition, it supports to handle everything from simple electric propulsion systems up to sophisticated systems with several engines, complex gears, propeller lines etc.

With the release of Nauticus Machinery 10.0, all machinery calculations are put into one unified environment with Getting Started, Auto Recovery, updates and redesign tools, which brings Nauticus Machinery into a brand-new stage with easy approach to the most powerful calculation tools ever.
