Nauticus Machinery

is a set of calculation tools intended for strength assessment of rotating machinery components and systems. The software package includes Shaft Alignment, Torsional Vibration, Gear Faceload, Gear Rating, Shaft Fatigue and Crankshaft Fatigue. The first two are Class-free for design and troubleshooting; the others are DNV Rule based.

Nauticus Machinery is a market-driven modular system enabling users to configure the package based upon their needs. Some manufacturers are involved in all the components in a propulsion system, i.e. propeller, shafting, gears, couplings, dampers and engines, while others are specializing on single components.

Once you install Nauticus Machinery on your computer, all tools will be available, which controlled by the license file. Those tools are widely applied to three common propulsion systems or components, including Direct coupled propulsion system, Geared propulsion system and Generator sets.
